This was the first time I had been to Nick's house, so it was so great to see where Little Nick grew up. He gave me a tour of Fallon, and it actually reminded me a lot of Saline. It was so fun to see all the little places I had heard about and see where his childhood took place.

I am really bad at taking pictures, and even worse at knowing what to even take them of, so unfortunately I do not have as many pictures of the trip as I would like. Nick's family is absolutely wonderful, I love them so much. I am so grateful and blessed to have two such amazing families! They took such good care of us, and we ate a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner and had so much fun the whole time we were there. We went shopping, to the movies, ate A LOT at various delicious places (including at home), played games, and hiked. Here are a few pictures of one of our hikes (which is unfortunately the only thing I took pictures of).

This is Conliegh and her fiance, John. Nick had a free weekend, so we went up to check out San Antonio. It was way fun, and the Riverwalk was beautiful. We didn't go on the house tour to see the inside, but the grounds were more than enough to keep me happy.

When we finally made it to Texas, we were going to stop in a few places along the way that looked promising. Stopping in one town that was supposed to have museums, art galleries, and a lot of things to see ended up being a ghost town. Downtown, all the shops were boarded up and out of business, the skyscrapers empty, and there wasn't a soul in sight. Really kinda sad and creepy. But, we did find the World's Largest Fire Hydrant there, so I guess it wasn't a total loss.

Well, that's it for now, hopefully we'll have some more pictures to post soon!
